Lenzing Group announced its plan to bring its ‘TENCEL’ branded fibers for the hospitality industry in India to power the comfort and performance-driven category with environment-friendly materials. The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) recently conducted second batch of the Fire Marshals Training programme for hotels and restaurants in the city. The training activity was held at the Mumbai Fire Brigade headquarters in Byculla and was conducted under the supervision of the Mumbai Fire Chief & Director - Directorate of Maharashtra Fire Services – Dr. Prabhat Rahangdale and team. More than 118 employees from several hotels and restaurants across the city received training on the different aspects of fire safety.

Expanding its portfolio in Gujarat to 7 hotels, Sarovar Hotels announces signing of its latest project in the temple town of Somnath. The Fern Hotels & Resorts has recently opened Veeksar The Fern, Kolhapur in Maharashtra. This is the 13th hotel which the company is managing in the Maharashtra. Overall with the opening of Kolhapur property, the company’s count has extended to 72 hotels across the country and Nepal.

goStops, Indian hostel chain, has recently opened its first hostel in Agra themed on ‘love’. With this opening, goStops has expanded its presence to 13 hostels across India and has been identified as one of the most loved hostel brands in the country. Apart from Agra, goStops hostels are available at Leh, Amritsar, Bir, Dalhousie, Delhi, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Mumbai, Naggar, Rishikesh, Udaipur, and Varanasi.
