EazyDiner, an online restaurant reservation start up, has joined hands with American Express to roll out a premium dining programme – EazyDiner Prime – exclusively for the American Express card members. Around 400 specially curated top-end restaurants in 10 cities, including Dubai, will be covered under the programme which will have exclusivity of 90 days for American Express card members who hold AmEx Centurion, AmEx Platinum Charge and AmEx Platinum Reserve. The Prime programme was launched in Delhi jointly by the two companies in the presence of ace Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, yesterday.
Announcing the joint dining programme, Manoj Adlakha, Sr. VP & CEO, American Express – India, said that the exclusive dining programme is part of the “constant endeavour” of the company to offer “rewards and privileges” to its members “aligned with their lifestyle.” He said that there has been over 40% increase in transactions by its members for dining in 2016-17 alone which necessitated designing of exclusive dining programme. He said that the programme launched together with EazyDiner will offer “compelling value and benefits” to its members in 400 premium outlets across 10 cities.
Terming the partnership a “momentous one” in the journey of the start-up company, Kapil Chopra, Chairman of the Board, EazyDiner, said that it’s a win-win for both as they both operate and cater to the “premium segment” of the market. “This will become India’s most friction-free, highest premium end dining programme. While it is such a powerful dining programme, it is only priced at INR 1,995. That not only guarantees a minimum discount of 25% across the table at top restaurants in the country, it also offers INR 2,000 worth of dining vouchers,” he said. EazyDiner Prime is the most friction free in the sense that it will give table confirmation in sought after restaurants in the country in less than 18 seconds.
Chopra said that the customer base this tie up provides is huge and unprecedented in the history of dining programmes. “No other dining programme gives 25% minimum discount guarantee, which makes the programme unique,” he added. He said that they will increase the number of restaurants covered under the ‘Prime’ dining programme on a monthly basis, before opening it to all members at the end of 90-day exclusivity with American Express. |
