TagTaste to launch framework for alcoholic beverages tasting from January 2020

TagTaste, world’s first online community of food professionals and a food insights platform, will be rolling out framework for alcoholic beverages tasting and rating in the New Year. TagTaste already has online tasting framework developed for Bakery, fast food, salty snacks, dairy products to enable food companies to evolve product strategies appropriate for the market based on the reviews and rating by a network of tasting professionals spread across 71 cities in India. 


Informing this Jaspal Sabharwal, Co-founder of TagTaste said that framework for training people will be ready by early January and the new online forms will be commercially available three months after the roll out of the tasting framework. He said that there is lot of demand for tasting framework for alcoholic beverages from importers as well as from foreign consulates.

 TagTaste, launched three years ago, has supported more than 70 brands for product tasting and reviews so far. “We are the uber of capabilities for food companies. We have independent trained professionals to conduct product reviews and detailed sensory reports are created. Analysis at the backend throws up a sensogram,” he said.

 He said that TagTaste tasting framework has been well appreciated by the industry and is preferred by companies for both existing product improvisation as well as for products under development and waiting to be launched into the market. “When new products come, we create new forms and code it on the platform,” he informed. “There is no such detailed framework and concepts available, especially online, for food in the world today,” Sabharwal claims.

 TagTaste also conducts market research on different subjects which the companies in the food space to leverage and formulate market strategies. “Every quarter, we come up with research reports to support the industry,” he said citing the recent ‘Fasting & Feasting’ market study.
