Palladium Hotel Group recently hosted a virtual press conference to provide key updates to travel agents. The group spoke about the reopening dates of its properties and the launch of an insurance offering.
Palladium Hotel Group, which is the seventh largest all-inclusive Spanish company in the world hosted the virtual press conference in association with the Quintana Roo Tourism Board. The group highlighted the measures being taken across its portfolio to ensure the safety of guests. The hour-long conference also covered resort reopening dates and safety protocols across the region of Quintana Roo, which includes Cancun, Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen. Last month, Palladium had announced the reopening dates for resorts in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. The hotel group informed that Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and TRS Coral Hotel in Cancun; Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa; and Dominican Fiesta in Santo Domingo, are the hotels which are already open.
The group also informed that the following hotels, Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino, Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa and TRS Turquesa Hotel, all in Punta Cana, will open next on 9th October. Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, and TRS Yucatan Hotel will be opening on 30th October. The TRS Cap Cana in the D.R. is also expected to reopen on 30th October.
Along with reopening dates, Palladium Hotel Group also provided updates about its ground-breaking healthcare coverage called Stay Safe-Plus, which is completely free of charge and available to all guests regardless of how they booked, whether via palladiumhotelgroup.com or through a tour operator or travel agent. The coverage is available for one year from the moment a property reopens. For example, in the case of Riviera Maya resorts reopening on Oct. 30, coverage will be available from the reopening date until 30th October, 2021.
