Newly transitioned DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square recently collaborated with ResponseNet NGO and organized a Baking & Confectionery Workshop for 18 young trainees from an NGO. A full day long session was hosted and organized by the hotel where it all started with the warm doubletree welcome cookie experience post which the students were escorted to the meeting space where the hotel leadership team shared industry insights, current trends, and growth and career opportunities.
The trainees had a chance to interact with Bakery Chef, Mohammed Zakhir along with Head Chef Mukesh Kumar where DoubleTree Cookie recipe was revealed and trainees experimented with ingredients, talked things through, shared successes and analyzed mistakes while making the cookie from the scratch. It indeed broadened their learning skills and inspired them to excel in the culinary world.
“Whether a student becomes a professional baker or not, the learning process helps them with many life skills. It is inspiring to see young girls finding new ways to make ends meet and follow their passion. We will continue to motivate and share experiences which encourages them to pursue their dream job, says Jai Chugh, General Manager of DoubleTree By Hilton Gurugram Baani Square.
The Hotel has hosted such inspiring events in the past and will continue to host and motivate young minds which may add value to what they are currently perusing.
