Next-generation snack brand TAALI forays into Indian market

TAALI, a next-generation snack brand, announced its entry in India. The brand brings in a variety of nutritious and flavourful crunchy snacks to satiate the hunger pangs in between meals. In India, snacking is more than just what we eat; it is a tradition and an essential part of our cultural identity. With snacking in demand, the brand comes with a wide range of flavours such as Smoky Barbeque Protein Puffs, Tomato Basil Protein Puffs, Cheese Herbs Protein Puffs, Caramel Crunch Makhana, Dark Chocolate Makhana, Sriracha Spice Makhana, Tikka Masala Makhana. TAALI products will be widely available across online and offline stores, including reliance, dmart, big basket, amazon India etc.

 

What started as a small dream between two snackers, Aarti and Aditya, the husband and wife team launched TAALI in 2018, introducing Makhana as a superfood to the USA, as a better for you replacement for unhealthy snacks.

 

Speaking on the announcement, Aditya Kaji, Co-Founder, TAALI, said, "TAALI means high five, and we want TAALI to be a celebration of finding the perfect snack – worthy of a high five. We realised the need for innovative snacks in India as the stores were fatigued with the same snacks available for decades. The Indian consumers are trained to think that something healthy won't taste great. However, at TAALI, we are revolutionising snacking in a way that customers get great taste and something more for their calories. We are excited to launch TAALI in India with the idea to provide Guilt-free and innovative snack alternatives and make them accessible and affordable.

 

With the growing demand for a more wholesome diet, consumers are increasingly consuming foods with a high content of calcium, magnesium, iron, protein, whole grains, vitamins, and minerals. There has been an increasing demand for snack products, which enable consumers to maintain weight, provide nutritional requirements and align with their health goals. With these changes in the snack industry, TAALI saw a huge opportunity to create an accessible brand based on traditional flavours made with handpicked ingredients, with high standards of hygiene and packaging.
