Mr.Kumar is an accomplished professional, and has more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism sector, chiefly in the field of food and beverages.
The Clarks Hotels & Resorts is happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Ajit Kumar as Director of Food & Beverage. He will be heading the F&B department and will be responsible for managing uniformity in the food section across Clarks properties.
In his professional tenure, he has served reputed brands like Taj Group of hotels, Hyatt International, Kempinski Hotels, Shangri – la Hotels, The Ritz Carlton, etc.
Before joining The Clarks Hotels & Resorts, he was working with Kempinski Palace, Djibouti as Director of Food and Beverage. Armed with a degree from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh, he started his career with Hyatt Hotels.
Mr.Kumar Shares, “I am excited to join The Clarks Hotels & Resorts and manage its F&B department. Food is an integral part of the stay and makes the experience memorable. As a brand, we have to ensure that there is uniformity in the food served across properties. Apart from maintaining the food taste, I will also ensure proper hygiene is maintained. Also, I will be implementing new processes and will encourage experimentation in different cuisines. Regular training will be scheduled for staff, guiding them on new techniques, motivating them, and educating them around new process implementation.” Mr.Kumar is an enterprising leader with excellent interpersonal skills, planning, communication, problem-solving skills, and a firm believer in the value of teamwork.
