Hopshaus has partnered with Stranger & Sons for a limited-edition cocktail menu with five signature pours created with Trading Tides Coastal Dry Gin. Driven by ingredients, the special menu, a collaboration with Jeet Rana, Head Brand Ambassador, Stranger & Sons and Harry Simon Peter, Beverage Manager at Hophaus, pushes the envelope with unexpected flavours and high-tech mixology.
On the menu, Harry Simon Peter has debuted two culinary cocktails – Seaside Sunrise and Sailing to Siam. Seaside Sunrise is your quintessential breakfast (the all-day kind) with cereal, milk, butter, strawberries and coffee clarified to create a luxurious, creamy texture that espouses the cause of cocktails at breakfast. Sailing to Siam is an ode to the Tom Yum soup. The cocktail surprises you with a burst of flavours at the very first sip. The first note you taste is fresh and citrusy from lemongrass and coriander, then a kick of galangal and an unexpected zing of chilli – all to broaden your flavour profile.
Jeet Rana’s three palate-pleasing drinks are created to elevate your drinking experience. The Sailor’s Salute is a martini garnished with black olive and upcycled lemon peels, the Trader’s Tonic is the classic G&T reimagined with a pink grapefruit wedge garnish and The Riptide is a heady, floral mix with lychee syrup, rose water and egg white with a sprinkling of dried rose petals that hits the perfect spot for those with a sweet tooth.
