Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new property in Somnath, Gujarat

Lemon Tree Hotels announced its latest signing – Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels, Somnath. The property which shall be managed by Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, is expected to open in FY 2025.

At the confluence of three rivers at the Triveni Sangam, Somnath is famous for the eponymously named temple. The Somnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the most revered and holy shrines in India. It is one among the twelve prominent Jyotirlinga shrines and also one of the oldest pilgrimage places in Gujarat. Besides the Somnath Temple, there is also Gita Temple, Suraj Mandir and Bhalka Teerth which are popular with the religiously inclined. The city is also popular for its beaches and museums. Somnath Mahadev Fair which is held on Kartik Purnima and Maha Shivaratri are the two major festivals celebrated in Somnath with great pomp and fervour. The temple town witnesses a huge number of tourists from various parts of the country during these festivals.

Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels, Somnath will feature 52 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a meeting room, and a banquet hall. The Diu Airport is about 57 kms from the property while the Veraval Junction Railway Station is about 1.5 kms away. The hotel is also well connected by roadways for both public and private transport.
