With an illustrious career spanning over 13 years, Abhishek Mukherjee brings with him vast knowledge and understanding of the hospitality sales and marketing. He has been appointed as Director of Sales at Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata. As the director of sales, he will be in charge of overseeing and guiding the hotel’s sales team in engaging with other teams to implement successful strategies and identifying opportunities for growth.
This goal-oriented and conscientious individual has a proven ability to create a collaborative work environment with the help of training, mentoring, and practice of empathy. Mukherjee has enjoyed an exponential career growth with top tier hospitality brands since completing his graduation in Bachelors in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Kolkata. . He started his career by working with The Paul, Bangalore as Front Office Associate and his past roles included working in hotels like The Leela Palace, Bangalore; Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Bangalore; Hyatt Regency Kolkata to name a few.
His strengths is his ability to understand links between sales and profit with excellent sales and negotiation skills. His extensive expertise in various roles across Sales – driving loyalty program, driving cluster sales and business development would contribute to his new role to oversee and head all operations across various specialties of Sales.
