Villa-rental platform StayVista has successfully secured over INR 40 crore (approximately USD 4.6 million) in its Series B funding round. The investment was led by JSW Ventures, with significant participation from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners and Capri Global Family Office.
StayVista, operated by Stay Vista Pvt Ltd, announced plans to allocate the fresh capital towards strategic expansion into new geographic regions, strengthening its operational team, enhancing customer experience, and increasing its portfolio of properties.
Sachin Tagra, Managing Partner at JSW Ventures, highlighted the evolving preference of travelers from traditional hotels to alternative accommodations, positioning StayVista as a key player poised to capitalize on this growing trend. JSW Ventures, the early-stage venture capital arm of JSW Group, has a history of investing in diverse startups since its inception in 2016.
StayVista currently manages over 1,000 properties across more than 85 locations in India. The company operates as a full-stack brand, providing comprehensive services to both property owners and travelers, including maintenance, guest services, and marketing. Co-founder Pranav Maheshwari noted the company’s consistent growth, profitability, and achievement of hosting over a million guests.
According to VCCEdge, StayVista reported a standalone revenue from operations of INR 140.30 crore for FY24, an increase from INR 113.95 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company also managed to narrow its net loss to INR 8.28 crore from INR 11.76 crore. StayVista caters to mass-premium, premium, and luxury segments, offering a range of services from customisable food and beverage to event curation.
