Chalet Hotels to Add 1,000 Rooms as Part of Aggressive Expansion Plan

Chalet Hotels Ltd is set to expand its footprint in India’s thriving hospitality sector by adding 1,000 rooms across major cities. The move, which represents a one-third increase in its current capacity, will be achieved through a combination of acquisitions and new developments, according to Sanjay Sethi, Managing Director and CEO of Chalet Hotels.

Backed by K Raheja Corp, Chalet Hotels operates marquee properties such as the JW Marriott Mumbai, Sahar, and Westin Powai Lake. The company plans to fund this expansion using internal accruals and will target metropolitan areas for both new projects and the acquisition of existing properties.
