IHCL Taj resort in Chail, Himachal Pradesh

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL),  announced the signing of a Tajresort in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. The conversion project includes expanding the resort to 100-keys.

Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “Himachal Pradesh is home to many off-beat and idyllic destinations like Chail and IHCL with 11 hotels across brands in the state is committed to unlocking its tourism potential. We are delighted to partner with Mr. Girish Batra and Mr. Vansh Batra to bring the iconic Taj brand to the region.”

Nestled amidst lush greenery and serene landscapes, Taj Chail will celebrate the charm of a bygone era, blending old-world elegance with modern luxury. Combining contemporary aesthetics and colonial influences, the resort will feature intricate lattice work, stained glass, and cobbled stone pathways. Guests will enjoy dining at an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. Other amenities include a heated swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an activity centre and a J Wellness Circle spa. Additionally, the resort will feature the largest banqueting venue in Chail for social events and celebrations.

Chail is a picturesque hill station in Himachal Pradesh renowned for its dense forests, misty mountain views, and charming heritage sites, including the famous Chail Palace.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 11hotels in Himachal Pradesh including 6 under development.
