          Goa Sees Slight Dip in Hotel Rates : HVS ANAROCK

                     ccording to the report, in July 2024, India’s
                     domestic air passenger traffic saw a notable
                     year-on-year growth of over 7%, reflecting
          Athe ongoing recovery in the travel sector.
          Pune and Chennai topped the charts with the highest
          occupancy rates, ranging between 76-79%. Kolkata, New
          Delhi, and Chandigarh also showed strong performance,
          each registering an occupancy growth of 6-8 percentage
          points compared to the previous year. Average rates
          climbed significantly across most markets, with Mumbai
          maintaining the highest rates at over INR 10,500, a 21-23%
          rise from last year, despite a slower increase in occupancy
          rates. Meanwhile, Goa experienced a slight dip, with rates
          falling by 3-5%, though still above INR 8,500. n
