HRAWI Recognizes Nagpur Hoteliers For Exceptional Contribution At ‘Empowering Hospitality Conclave & Awards’

The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI recently held the ‘Empowering Hospitality Conclave & Awards’ on July 26 at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur to honour the remarkable contributions of Nagpur’s hospitality professionals. The event gathered key industry leaders to discuss topics including the new Maharashtra Tourism Policy 2024, cybersecurity essentials, technology for enhancing guest experiences, and skill training. The Chief Guest of the conclave, Dr. Sagnik Chowdhury, DDG & Regional Director (Western & Central), Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, and Special guest Dr Ravinder Singal (IPS), Commissioner of Police, Nagpur City, graced the occasion.

A highlight of the event was the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Shri Shivkisan Agrawal, CMD, Haldiram Group for his exemplary contributions to the hospitality sector. Other notable awardees included Mr Jasbir Singh Arora, Hotel Centre Point; Mr Aum Ashok Hansles, Ashoka Restaurant; Mr Satyen Jain, CEO & Director, The Pride Hotel; and Mr Tejinder Singh Renu, Owner of Hotel Pritam, for their excellent contributions to the industry.

The event also recognized several distinguished professionals for their exceptional contributions, including Mr Manoj Bali, General Manager, Radisson Blu Hotel who was awarded the Best General Manager; Mr Shrikant Mallik, Sous Chef, Hotel Pride, the Best Chef (Hotel) and Mr Amit Kandwal, General Manager, Hotel Centre Point was awarded the Best Young General Manager. Mr Anil Nair, Enrise Sayaji and Mr Praful Deshmukh, Ginger received awards for Best New Hotels in Nagpur. Mr Sanjay Gupta; Hotel Nagpur Ashok was recognized for his significant contribution to the hospitality sector in Nagpur.
