Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa appoints Saptarshi Biswas as GM

Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa appointed Saptarshi Biswas as their new General Manager recently. Biswas holds an experience of 19 years in the hospitality industry. His tenure includes pivotal roles at The Imperial New Delhi and The Leela Palace New Delhi, before joining the Marriott family in 2014. Throughout his career at Marriott International, he has progressed through several properties, such as JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, The Westin Chennai Velachery, and The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, culminating in his most recent role as Hotel Manager at The Westin Gurgaon.
Originally from Kolkata, Biswas not only brings his extensive expertise in hotel management but also a profound appreciation for diverse culinary traditions, thereby carving a niche for himself. His appointment signals a renewed focus on creating unparalleled guest experiences, blending luxurious comfort with a touch of cultural richness.
