Hilton India’s Braveheart Brunch; Honoring Armed Forces and Celebrating Culinary Heritage on 76th Independence Day

In Honour of the 76th Independence Day, Hilton India is launching a first-of-its-kind Braveheart Brunch on August 13th and 15th across its hotels nationwide. The Braveheart Brunch is a unique initiative to pay homage to the valour of our armed forces, who were at the forefront of India’s struggle for freedom and celebrate India’s diverse culinary heritage.

From the iconic Ladhaki Thukpa inspired by the Ladakh Regiment to the traditional Puran Poli representing the Maratha Regiment and the Kanyakumari Fish Curry of the Madras Regiment, the menu is inspired by an archive of regimental recipes from the Army Supply Core Centre and College in Bangalore.

Reflecting on the creation of the menu, Prashant Kulkarni, the Food and Beverage Director at HiltonIndia said, “We are immensely proud to present the Braveheart Brunch, a heartfelt tribute to our armed forces. Through this initiative, we aim to celebrate the unity in diversity that defines our nation and honour the regiments that have safeguarded our borders. At Hilton, we breathe life into each establishment, curating experiences that are genuine, inspiring, and unforgettable. The ‘Braveheart Brunch’ perfectly embodies our culinary vision—a gateway to India’s history and the resolute spirit of our armed forces. It’s an authentic showcase of regimental cuisines, drawn from the Indian Army’s archives—a tribute to the diverse regiments guarding our borders, each with its own unique heritage and flavours.”

Boasting an array of delectables from 28 different states of the country, the Braveheart Brunch, is a culinary soiree that casts a spell, each with a storied history and a distinctive essence.  While the brunch will be open to travellers across the country, Hilton India extends special offers to the serving and retired veterans of the Army, Navy, and Airforce, as a token of gratitude for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices.
