HRAWI organises FSSAI’s latest FoSTaC Programme in Mumbai

The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI organised Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme on 14th December at the Pritam Da Dhaba in Mumbai. The session convened 39 hospitality professionals seeking to enhance their expertise, ensuring impeccable safety standards in their establishments. FSSAI’s FoSTaC training programmes are aimed towards equipping professionals with essential knowledge and skills crucial for ensuring safe and healthy food practices in their respective establishments.

Dr Pasupathy from Parikshan, Raosaheb Shinde, Banquet Manager of Pritam Da Dhaba, and Hemanshu Chauhan, Assistant Secretary General of HRAWI, jointly inaugurated this insightful training session.

This comprehensive program covered essential facets such as food handling, preparation, hygiene, sanitation and waste management. The modules were designed to empower participants with the necessary skills to seamlessly integrate stringent food safety practices into their daily operational procedures.

HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 2873 professionals in FSSAI’s FoSTaC Training Programme.
