Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the importance of creating a conducive commercial and social environment for the growth of Odisha’s hospitality industry during the inauguration of Swosti Premium Beach Resorts in Puri. Pradhan urged the state to develop a systematic action plan, drawing parallels with Rajasthan’s thriving hospitality sector, and praised local initiatives like Hotel Swosti and Belgadia Palace for showcasing Odisha’s potential.
The minister also emphasized the central government’s commitment to boosting tourism in Odisha, referencing the upcoming coastal highway project as a key infrastructure development that will drive employment and economic growth in the state. He commended the Swosti Group for its contribution to elevating Odisha’s hospitality sector. The event was attended by several prominent political figures, including Deputy Chief Ministers Pravati Parida and KV Singh Deo, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, and Puri MP Sambit Patra.
