The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a new premium hotel plot scheme in anticipation of the operational launch of the Noida International Airport. This initiative is poised to transform the region into a high-demand hospitality and business hub, offering significant opportunities for developers and hoteliers to establish flagship properties.
The scheme includes seven premium plots, ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 square meters, strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway near Jewar Airport. These plots are expected to cater to luxury hotel brands, resorts, and high-end mixed-use developments. With Noida International Airport projected to handle 12 million passengers annually in its first phase, the demand for hospitality services is set to surge, providing a robust growth avenue for the industry.
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh stated that the scheme aligns with the authority’s vision to create an international standard hospitality ecosystem around the airport. “The Noida International Airport is a game-changer for the region. This scheme ensures world-class facilities for travelers and positions the area as a competitive destination for business and leisure tourism,” he said.
The proximity to the airport, along with a well-planned infrastructure network, makes these plots highly attractive to investors. The surrounding areas are also witnessing rapid development with the establishment of new logistics hubs, residential zones, and commercial centers. This creates a perfect synergy for hospitality projects, boosting long-term returns for investors.
YEIDA’s focus on premium hotel development is timely, considering the rise in international connectivity and the anticipated influx of global travelers. The hospitality industry, particularly luxury and business hotels, is expected to benefit from this influx, with opportunities for brands to capitalize on the increasing demand for accommodations and event spaces.
The last date for plot applications is January 30, 2025, and YEIDA has assured a transparent allocation process to encourage participation from leading developers and hotel chains. With the launch of this scheme, the Noida-Jewar region is set to emerge as a major hospitality and tourism destination, offering unparalleled opportunities for industry players looking to establish a foothold in one of India’s most promising growth corridors.
