On International Tourism Day, the historic city of Lucknow set the stage for a significant industry gathering as it hosted the 14th Annual Convention and Awards 2024, organised by the Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF). The event kicked off with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising the start of this prestigious convention.
Leading the ceremonial start was Dr. Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder and General Secretary of HPMF, joined by distinguished dignitaries from the hospitality and tourism sectors.
The chief guest for the event, Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, President , Hotel & Restaurant Association of Northern India, Guest of Honour – Gaurav Prakash, Chairman MSME, Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises – U.P. , Aman Nath, Co-founder & Chairman of Neemrana Hotels, Major General Dilawar Singh, Sanjay Goyal, Chief procurement and Supply Chain Officer, Foodlink joined the inaugural ceremony alongside esteemed industry leaders. Mohan Deshpande, Chairman of HPMF, played a key role in welcoming the delegates, while Rahul Pandit, Managing Director & CEO of Advent Hotels, and Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan, Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts, added their insights to the gathering.
