The Fern Hotels & Resorts has appointed Amit Kumar Sharma as the new Cluster General Manager for Maharashtra. With more than twenty years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry, both in India and abroad, Sharma brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success in hotel operations.
In his new position as Cluster General Manager for Maharashtra, Sharma will be responsible for the comprehensive management and strategic direction of 15 properties throughout the region, including locations such as Karad, Karjat, Kolhapur, Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Pune, Satara, Ichalkaranji, and Solapur. His responsibilities would encompass providing leadership and guidance to individual General Managers (GMs) and their teams to ensure high operational standards, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Additionally, he would be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with company goals to promote sustainable growth and profitability across hotels, while ensuring compliance with brand standards, quality controls, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
