Chalet Hotels Limited Delivers Strong Q2 FY25 Performance, Expands Portfolio

Chalet Hotels Limited, a leader in the upscale hotel segment in India, announced impressive financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, ending September 30, 2024. The company saw a robust 20% year-over-year increase in total income, reaching INR 3.8 billion, and a 20% jump in EBITDA, which stood at INR 1.6 billion. This growth was largely driven by higher average room rates (ARR), improved RevPAR, and strong occupancy rates.

In the hospitality segment, Chalet’s revenue rose 18% to INR 3.3 billion, while its ARR increased by 10% to INR 10,532. Occupancy remained solid at 74%, and RevPAR grew by 10% year-over-year to INR 7,756. The hospitality EBITDA also surged by 18%, indicating strong operational efficiency.

Chalet Hotels continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence, recently receiving the KPMG ESG Excellence Award 2024 and being named one of ‘India’s Best Workplaces for Women 2024’ by Great Place to Work.

In addition to financial performance, Chalet Hotels made a significant investment by acquiring an 11-acre beachfront property in Goa, marking its expansion into leisure destinations. With 170 planned rooms, this project is set to elevate the company’s portfolio further.

  • Hyatt Regency, Navi Mumbai: ~280 rooms, completion in FY27
