This initiative taken by Courtyard By Marriott Agra ties into Marriott International’s global vision of building sustainable operations and creating a widespread network of Electric Vehicle charging stations.

Electric vehicles have become an everyday reality on Indian roads, our discerning guests too have become increasingly aware of the environmental benefits of electric vehicles and this has started to influence their buying decisions when it comes to selecting a hotel. As a company, we have taken cognizance of this paradigm shift in guest’s expectations and have since embraced these initiatives in our regular operations.

Mr. Saurabh Khanna, General Manager, Courtyard By Marriott, Agra said, We aim to meet the fast growing demand of guests using Electric Vehicles for their commute to Agra. With this initiative, not only do we expect to attract more guests but also establish the brand as a leader in sustainability. CHARGE ZONE has installed two fast charging stations at the property that are designed to charge these vehicles from 0 to 80% within 45-60 minutes. We believe that travelers around the world are extremely conscious of their carbon footprint and yearning to engage with hotels practicing sustainable and responsible business practices.
