IHCL announced the signing of a hotel in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This conversion project will be branded as Gateway.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL states, “Dehradun’s proximity to popular destinations such as Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar has attracted a mix of leisure travellers, pilgrims, and business delegations driving a significant rise in tourism. With the addition of Gateway Dehradun, IHCL will strengthen its multi -brand presence of five hotels in the city, reflective of the growing tourism potential of the region. Situated close to the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, the100-key Gateway Dehradun embraces the beauty of the city, embodying its spirit. The hotel features an array of culinary options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant offering curated delicacies, and a bar for guests to unwind. For wellness and recreation, the property offers treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, and a swimming pool. Gateway Dehradun also stands as a leading venue for events and gatherings, housing the region’s largest banqueting facility, spanning over 10,000 sq. ft.
