The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Ranchi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Art of Living (TAOL) to launch youth empowerment and skill development programs. This collaboration aims to equip students with holistic life skills, including stress management, health awareness, and professional etiquette.
Under the agreement, TAOL will provide students with multidisciplinary development programs that focus on intellectual, aesthetic, emotional, and moral growth. By integrating these practices into IHM Ranchi’s curriculum, the partnership seeks to nurture well-rounded individuals capable of thriving in both personal and professional spheres.
Speaking at the MoU signing, Dr. Bhupesh Kumar, Principal of IHM Ranchi, highlighted the importance of holistic education in today’s competitive world. “Technical and professional competence alone is insufficient. Mental balance, ethical values, and self-awareness are essential for shaping successful individuals,” he said.
Dr. Kumar emphasized that this initiative will inspire students to embrace leadership, compassion, and service, enriching their journey beyond academics. He expressed confidence that the collaboration with TAOL, a globally recognized organization, will foster meaningful transformation for students.
The Art of Living is renowned for its programs aimed at stress-free living and empowerment. Through this partnership, it will extend its expertise to help IHM Ranchi students develop confidence and resilience, preparing them to excel in the hospitality industry and beyond.
