Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) today announced the signing of fourth hotel under the Ginger brand in Kochi, Kerala. With this addition IHCL will now have six hotels across its brands in the city. The hotel is a fully fitted lease.
Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “IHCL has a long association with Kerala, with all its brands present in the state. Kochi, the largest metropolitan city in Kerala is also its financial capital. Addition of Ginger to the existing IHCL hotels will cater to multiple segments of the market. The 73-key hotel is strategically located in the central business district at MG Road. It is at a drivable distance from Cochin Airport as well as important tourist destinations. The hotel will house an all-day diner – Qmin, offering a variety of global and local favourites, a banquet hall, swimming pool and a fitness centre.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 16 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands across Kerala including four under development.
