Plans to invest INR 400 crore over the next 4-5 years, aiming to double its room inventory in Tamil Nadu

Sangu Chakra Hotels Pvt. Ltd. celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of excellence in hospitality. Founded in 1975 with Sangam Hotel in Trichy, the group expanded to Thanjavur (1995) and Madurai (2002), and ventured into heritage tourism in 2008 with the restoration of Chidambara Vilas in Karaikkudi. Now operating Courtyard by Marriott in Trichy and Madurai, the group offers global hospitality standards and is renowned for its blend of culture and heritage.

The group plans a series of events to celebrate its milestone and is exploring new expansions in Trichy, Madurai, and Chennai, along with a beachfront resort in Rameswaram. Committed to innovation, environmental sustainability, and community engagement, Sangu Chakra Hotels continues to be a top choice for business and leisure travellers worldwide.

As part of its ambitious growth strategy, the company is poised to invest a capital outlay of approximately INR 400 crores over the next 4 to 5 years. This significant investment reflects the company’s vision to expand its footprint in key markets and further enhance its service offerings. In the process, Sangu Chakra Hotels, would be more than doubling its room inventory in the state of Tamil Nadu.
