Plans to invest INR 400 crore over the next 4-5 years, aiming to double its room inventory in Tamil Nadu

Founded in 1975 with Sangam Hotel in Trichy, the group expanded to Thanjavur (1995) and Madurai (2002), and ventured into heritage tourism in 2008 with the restoration of Chidambara Vilas in Karaikkudi. The group plans a series of events to celebrate its milestone and is exploring new expansions in Trichy, Madurai, and Chennai, along with a beachfront resort in Rameswaram. As part of its ambitious growth strategy, the company is poised to invest a capital outlay of approximately INR 400 crores over the next 4 to 5 years. This significant investment reflects the company’s vision to expand its footprint in key markets and further enhance its service offerings. In the process, Sangu Chakra Hotels, would be more than doubling its room inventory in the state of Tamil Nadu.
