Yum! Brands, which houses brands like KFC and Pizza Hut, witnessed a 45% system sales growth for India and area countries for Q3.
“The quarter ending September (Q3 2022) witnessed a 45% system sales growth for India and area countries. The business continued positive trajectory as we focused on customer centricity with product innovations, value & festive offers, and reinforced our commitment towards Feeding People’s Potential with Kshamata. We spiced-up our product portfolio with the launch of KFC Peri Peri Chicken featuring megastar Allu Arjun. We also introduced value offers celebrating festivals like Onam & Durga Puja, and a key milestone with the Special 15 Bucket – marking our presence across 150+ cities in India. We were the first QSR brand in India to launch a collectible NFT – the ‘KFC BuckETH’ – a reimagined version of the iconic Bucket, featuring designs by budding Indian artists. Driving awareness & acceptance for sign language, we unveiled a short film ‘Kshamata’ on International Day of Sign Languages, directed by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar & inspired by our specially-abled team members. On our journey to grow with India, in India, we will continue to drive relevance for our consumers in a distinct KFC manner,” said Moksh Chopra, General Manager, KFC India BMU (Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives)
