Zostel marks its presence in Northeast India with Zostel Shillong, Meghalaya

A report by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, suggests that in 2022 alone, the region hosted over 118 lakh domestic and 1.04 lakh foreign tourists. Recognising the surging demand for backpacker’s hostels in the Northeast, Zostel, the world’s largest chain of backpacker hostels offering experiential travel, inaugurated the region’s first backpacker hostel in Shillong.
