In a significant step towards fostering collaboration in the global hospitality industry, the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals India chapter and the Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote innovation, sustainability, and professional development in hospitality procurement, finance, and technology.
The MoU was signed by Ravin Kumar Jhaala, Founding Director of HFTP India, and Sunil Kuttan, Project Lead – Future Vision and Legacy at HPMF, in the presence of key members from both organizations.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravin Kumar Jhaala highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, stating, “This collaboration is a step towards a smarter, more connected hospitality ecosystem. With HPMF’s expertise in procurement and HFTP’s leadership in technology and finance, we are poised to create impactful industry change.”
Sunil Kuttan emphasized the critical role of technology in optimizing procurement and supply chain processes. He noted, “With the growing presence of AI, it is vital for procurement professionals to stay updated on technological advancements and integrate them into their workflows for greater efficiency.”
He added, “This MoU aligns with HPMF’s vision of creating a strong legacy centered on knowledge sharing, innovation, and forward-thinking. Together with HFTP, we aim to empower professionals and drive meaningful progress across our domains.”
The partnership aims to benefit professionals across the hospitality sector through initiatives such as joint training programs, webinars, research sharing, and advocacy for sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
