Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has achieved a milestone by adding 100 new locations in FY2025, including 74 hotel signings and 26 openings, expanding its portfolio to 380 properties. This growth aligns with its strategic roadmap, Accelerate 2030, aimed at reaching a 700-hotel portfolio.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive VP of Real Estate & Development, highlighted the record 74 signings, driven by demand in upscale and midscale segments. Key growth was seen in the Gateway and Ginger brands, with Ginger surpassing 100 hotels and Vivanta crossing the 50-hotel mark.
On the international front, IHCL entered Bahrain and Ras Al Khaimah with over 800 keys, solidifying its Middle East footprint.
Deepika Rao, Executive VP of Hotel Openings & New Businesses, shared that IHCL launched 26 hotels, creating over 2,500 jobs. Highlights include Ginger openings in Nagpur, Coimbatore, and Srinagar, as well as Taj properties in Cochin, Dehradun, and Patna.
IHCL also introduced hotels in spiritual and leisure destinations, with SeleQtions and Gateway properties in Diu and Puri.
