Khushnooma Kapadia, VP Marketing – South Asia, Marriott International
Khushnooma Kapadia, previously working in the capacity of Area Director of Marketing at Marriott International, has been elevated to the role of Vice President of Marketing – South Asia. A marketing and communications professional with over 25 years of work experience across industries like financial services, communication consulting and hospitality, her core areas of expertise include brand marketing, brand building, strategic communications, managing strategic alliances, media management, digital, social media marketing and crisis communications.
In her role at Marriott International, she has been responsible for establishing the brand roadmap for Marriott’s entire consortium of brands in India operating within various segments of luxury, lifestyle and mid-tier both within Tier I and Tier II markets. Leading a team of over 80 marketing managers in the country, Khushnooma has been actively involved in the process of brand development and sustenance through a focused effort involving both communication and marketing techniques.
Khushnooma joined Marriott International as Marketing Communications Manager in 2004 and prior to that worked with Good Relations India as its Account Group Head; and with Arther Anderson as a Senior Associate. A gold medalist and university topper from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, she has been the recipient of several leadership awards as well as has been on the jury and panels for several industry platforms.
