BACARDÍ’s Mojito Maestros Program trains mixologists in the art of creating the ultimate Mojito

In an initiative to celebrate the iconic cocktail – the Mojito and elevate BACARDÍ’s summer tropical spirit, the brand hosted the second edition of its Mojito Maestros program for bartenders from all over the country. As part of the initiative, bartenders were given an opportunity to attend a three-day Bootcamp in Goa where they were given hands-on training to elevate their knowledge and sharpen their Mojito-making skills.

 

From learning the importance of sourcing fresh ingredients and how they can make or break a Mojito to ensuring the right balance of flavors and acing the presentation, participants learnt how to use the latest mixology techniques and tools to create the Classic cocktail with BACARDÍ Carta Blanca as the canvas. On completion of the program, participants were awarded with the title of ‘Mojito Maestro’ and now move on to share their learnings by training other bartenders in their home cities. Further spreading the love for the classic Mojito, the Maestros will soon host a ‘Mojito Night’ across outlets in India, capturing the perfect Mojito mood, as consumers experience the refreshing classic sip.

Adding a new chapter to our legacy, we created the Mojito Maestros train-the-trainer program to equip ambassadors with essential skills needed to create an exceptional Mojito every time. India truly is home to a passionate circle of bartenders committed to their craft and it was great to see the number of creative entries pour in this time as well. In 2022, we were honored to award 29 mixologists with this title, with 37 joining the league of Mojito Maestros this year and we look forward to building a strong community of ambassadors in the years to come.”
