Gearing up for Lok Sabha poll duties, Hyderabad district officials, have unveiled plans to intensify surveillance efforts at liquor outlets spanning the 15 Assembly constituencies.
The strategy entails the installation of CCTV cameras aimed at bolstering monitoring capabilities, particularly focusing on inventory levels to detect any anomalous increases in sales. These proactive measures come in response to directives issued by GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) commissioner Ronald Rose, who serves as the Hyderabad district electoral officer.
With the upcoming elections, authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process. As part of this initiative, heightened scrutiny at liquor shops aims to preempt any potential irregularities that may arise during the election period. By implementing advanced surveillance technologies and closely monitoring stock movements, officials aim to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and maintain public trust in the democratic system.
