THSC, Ladakh Skill Development Mission and the University of Ladakh enter a tripartite understanding

The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC), in conjunction with the Ladakh Skill Development Mission and the University of Ladakh, has embarked on a journey to reshape the landscape of skill development and education in the Ladakh region. A landmark tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed, solidifying this partnership and marking a new era of educational excellence and skill enhancement.
The crux of this transformative MoU is to establish a robust alliance that will pave the way for the integration of skill-focused courses across prestigious institutions in Ladakh. This strategic amalgamation of academic prowess, skill development acumen, and industry insights aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, furnishing students with skills that seamlessly align with the dynamic demands of the job market.
“The combined efforts of THSC, Ladakh Skill Development Mission, and the University of Ladakh signify a resolute commitment to empowering Ladakh’s youth with skills that hold not only local but also global relevance. Core Objectives of the MoU:
Integration of Skill Courses: At the heart of this partnership lies the seamless integration of skill-centric courses into the curriculum of Degree Colleges, Polytechnics, and Schools affiliated with the University of Ladakh. This strategic integration aims to empower students with practical skills, ensuring a seamless transition into the professional realm.
Elevation of Skill Development: Drawing upon the expertise of the Ladakh Skill Development Mission and THSC, this collaboration aspires to elevate the quality and relevance of skill development programs in the region.
