Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is expanding its footprint in Punjab with the signing of the 150-key Radisson Blu Hotel, Ludhiana, marking the Group’s 18th property in the state. This move strengthens RHG’s presence in Punjab’s largest industrial and commercial hub, complementing its portfolio of nine operational hotels (911 keys) and eight under development (714 keys) across the region.
Ludhiana, often referred to as the “Manchester of India,” is a prominent industrial center in Northern India, renowned for its manufacturing sector, cultural heritage, and historical significance. The Radisson Blu Hotel will cater to a mix of corporate, leisure, and wedding-related travelers, featuring 150 well-appointed rooms and extensive meeting and event spaces. The hotel’s offerings include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar, aimed at providing diverse culinary experiences.
Strategically located along Ferozepur Road (NH 5), the property will be part of Ludhiana’s burgeoning hospitality district and near the upcoming Ludhiana International Airport. The airport is set to enhance connectivity and support the city’s growth as a key economic and tourism hub. Additionally, the hotel will be integrated into a larger mixed-use development featuring retail and lifestyle brands.
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, emphasized the significance of this addition:

Punjab’s thriving industrial sector, robust wedding culture, and growing demand for premium accommodation make it an ideal destination for our upper-upscale Radisson Blu brand. We are confident this property will set new standards of hospitality in the region.”
Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director, Development South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted Ludhiana’s dynamic growth:
