The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) issued a fine of INR 25,000 to Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton, located on Golf Course Road, for violations related to waste management. According to Senior Sanitation Inspector Satyendra Dahiya, the hotel was found to be in breach of the Solid Waste Management Rules-2016, which mandate bulk waste generators to manage waste disposal at their own level. The travel industry is anticipated to report robust earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 (Q4FY24), driven by significant growth in the hotels and aviation sector.
