Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that 11 projects with an outlay of INR 696.47 crore are underway to give a fillip to the tourism sector in Himachal Pradesh. According to Bangalore Mirror, a delay by the government in issuing a final notification on the revision of liquor and beer prices has led to a shortage of premium liquor brands in the market. Leading Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) manufacturer, Tilaknagar Industries Limited (TI) has reported a 55.7 per cent year-on-year jump in its Profit After Tax (PAT) (excluding exceptional items) at INR 40.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024.
