The highly anticipated AHP Hospitality Challenge 2023, organized by the Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP), concluded with remarkable success. This grand event celebrated the extraordinary talent and innovation within the hospitality industry, showcasing the exceptional skills of participants from various competitions. The final event, the esteemed AHP Hospitality Excellence Awards 2023, is scheduled to take place on July 8th at the USI Auditorium in New Delhi, where the winners will be recognized for their outstanding achievements.
In a historic moment for hospitality competitions, 25 specially-abled professionals participated for the first time, showcasing the competition’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity. The specially-abled professionals showcased their incredible talent, determination, and resilience, serving as an inspiration to everyone present.
Throughout the AHP Hospitality Challenge, participants from all over the country showcased their expertise and creativity in a series of captivating competitions. The event featured more than 350 hospitality professionals competing in 17 diverse categories. It commenced with The Art of Bed Making and Towel Art and was followed by three days of culinary competitions. The AHP Hospitality Challenge successfully concluded with the Art of Napkin Folding, Art of Table Setting,” and War of Spirits competitions at Radisson Paschim Vihar, and the Front Office Master competition at the Indian Hotel Academy, Subharsh Nagar, New Delhi.
The Art of Napkin Folding competition had 24participants, demonstrating the intricate artistry and finesse involved in napkin folding. The participants showcased their flair for design, transforming ordinary napkins into captivating works of art. The Art of Table Setting competition had 13participants who displayed their exceptional talent in creating visually stunning table settings. The War of Spirits competition had 17 participants, challenging bartenders to craft innovative and delectable cocktails. Their mastery of mixology and ability to captivate with their concoctions left the judges in awe. The Front Office Mastercompetition had 25 participants, testing their skills in managing front office operations. They showcased their ability to handle guest interactions, reservations, and other essential tasks with finesse and efficiency.
