Marriott International and Three Musketeers Hospitality Collaborates to Bring Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island

Marjan, the leading developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, is pleased to announce the signing of a groundbreaking agreement between Three Musketeers Hospitality (TMH) and Marriott International. This collaboration will introduce the prestigious Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts brand to Ras Al Khaimah, with the highly anticipated Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa set to enhance the premium hospitality offerings on Marjan’s flagship Al Marjan Island. By 2026, the resort aims to add 350 keys, solidifying its position as a premier destination.

The development of Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa will be spearheaded by Three Musketeers Hospitality (TMH), a wholly owned subsidiary of UAE-based Plus Holding Limited (PHL) and founded by family members of the renowned India-based Universal Halwasiya Group. The resort boasts an idyllic beachfront location and represents the latest addition to Al Marjan Island’s expanding portfolio of world-class hospitality destinations. This strategic expansion aligns with the Emirate’s rising visitor numbers, attracting tourists from all corners of the globe.

Anticipated to offer 350 contemporary guest rooms with breathtaking ocean views, Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa will be a haven of luxury and sophistication. The property will feature seven exquisite food and beverage venues, as well as a range of recreational facilities including a fitness center, swimming pool, spa, and kids club. Embodying the essence of Le Méridien, the resort will showcase signature brand programs and spaces such as Le Méridien Hub, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional hotel lobby.

Abdulla Abdouli, Chief Executive Officer of Marjan, expressed his delight at Marriott International’s decision to introduce the premium and distinctive experiences of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to Al Marjan Island’s residents and visitors. He emphasized that the island’s ambitious integrated projects are reshaping waterfront living in the UAE, attracting increased investments to the Emirate. Ras Al Khaimah is poised for significant growth in its hospitality and tourism sectors, having welcomed 1.13 million overnight visitors in 2022, representing a 16 percent increase compared to the previous year. A recent study conducted by Colliers revealed that beachfront plots on Al Marjan Island present lucrative opportunities for hotel development in Ras Al Khaimah, with high potential returns that appeal to investors.
