Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road exclusively kickstarts the ‘Flavours of Kerala’ Food Festival

Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road exclusively inaugurates ‘Flavours of Kerala’ (Kerala Food Festival) in the presence of Chief Guests – Pritha Hari (Entrepreneur), Vivek Karunakaran (Fashion Designer, voted among Best Dressed Men in India by GQ), Minnie Menon (Jewellery Designer, Philanthropist and popular socialite) and Parvathi Nayar (Visual Artist and Creative Writer).

This festival is open to the public for dinner (7PM onwards) from 17th March 2023 – 26th March 2023 and for Brunch on Sundays (19th March 2023 and 26th March 2023 from 12:30PM onwards) at Food Exchange, Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road. Sunday Brunch at Flavours of Kerala (Kerala Food Festival) offers live counters such as Chakka Elai Adai Counter, Kochi Super Grill Counter, Appam Counter Live and much more.

Flavours of Kerala by Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road is a Kerala Food Festival curated by their inhouse MasterChef Gopinath.  Chef Gopinath started his career in Novotel Chennai OMR as a Commi Chef and was transferred to Hyderabad Convention Centre as a Demi Chef de Partie and later got promoted as Chef de Partie at Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road.

He is an experienced South Indian Cuisine chef who specializes in Kerala Cuisine. He believes that the cuisine of Kerala is known for its generous use of spices, coconuts and vegetables exclusively grown in the region and the variety of flavors in this cuisine range from spicy to mellow and sweet. The specialties of these festivals are Allepey Fish Curry, Kozhi Nirachathu, Kootu Kalan, Aviyal, Malabar Paratha, Malabar Chicken Biriyani, Ada Peradhaman and much more.
