Radisson Hotel Group (RHG), one of India’s largest international hotel operators, reaffirmed its ambitious growth plans at the Belgian Economic Mission in India, aiming to expand its portfolio to 240 hotels in operation and development by the end of 2025. With over 194 hotels across 114 destinations in India, the Group is strategically leveraging its global expertise and local partnerships to strengthen its presence, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Highlighting RHG’s contribution to India’s hospitality sector, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President, South Asia, said, “Our goal to expand to 240 hotels in 2025 reflects our commitment to this market, where we aim to redefine hospitality experiences, create value for our partners, and support local economies.”
The Group’s recent developments include flagship openings like Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar, and signings in destinations like Chennai, Siliguri, and Kasauli. These moves align with its strategy to cater to the growing demand for luxury and midscale accommodations in India.
RHG’s participation in the Mission, presided over by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, emphasized fostering stronger Belgium-India trade ties, which reached $15.07 billion in 2023-24. K.B. Kachru, Chairman, South Asia, added, “Radisson Hotel Group has played a key role in shaping India’s hospitality landscape over the past 26 years. This mission allows us to explore new collaborations and deepen our contribution to India’s vibrant hospitality ecosystem.”
