Lyfe Hotels, Bhubaneshwar appoints Prakash Shankar as GM

Lyfe Hotels appointed Prakash Shankar as General Manager for their recently launched hotel property in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Shankar brings an abundance of experience spanning around 22 years in the hospitality industry. He has been associated with globally renowned hotel brands with a proven track record of successfully pre-opening, rebranding and managing operations across India.

Shankar will be overseeing a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the hotel and delivering high-quality guest experiences in his new role. In the past, Mr. Prakash Shankar has worked with several reputed hotel brands like Taj, Marriott, Zuri, Carlson & Radisson in different roles and capacities.

Shankar is an alumnus of Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi university. During his professional journey, he has acquired skills such as Strategic Planning, Quality Assurance, General Administration, Resource Management, P&L Management, Training & Development to name a few. To ensure consistent service excellence, he would focus on investing in employee training and development programs, promoting a positive work culture to foster a motivated and skilled workforce that’s passionate about delivering exceptional guest engagement and experiences.
