Andra Pradesh State Tourism Minister RK Roja inaugurated three Andhra Pradesh tourism restaurants at various locations within the world-renowned Tirumala hill town.
The three tourism hotels, situated at Annamayya Bhavan, Balaji and Narayan Giri guest houses, will offer vegetarian Indian cuisines at affordable rates to the devotees visiting Tirumala. Additionally, coffee and juice bars, along with artifact stores, have been set up at these restaurants for the convenience of devotees.
The restaurant themes are also aligned with spiritual motifs, aiming to preserve the tranquil and sacred atmosphere of the Tirumala shrine.
Roja said, “With nearly lakh devotees visiting Tirumala everyday and with the pilgrim rush going up during festivals and holidays, there was always a demand for establishing top quality restaurants. While only roadside eateries existed a here, TTD and AP Tourism Ministry have partnered to established multiple top quality restaurants on the hill town to cater to the multi faceted food needs of the devotees visiting the hill town.”
Speaking to the media, Roja said the three restaurants inaugurated at Tirumala boasted of 5 star hotel ambience,but are definitely pocket friendly for the devotees as food will be served here at nominal prices prescribed by the tirumala Tirupati devasthanam.
Roja expressed gratitude to CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and the TTD top officials for promptly granting all necessary approvals for the State Tourism Department to simultaneously launch three restaurants at Tirumala. With this addition, the total number of restaurants operated by the AP Tourism Department at Tirumala has now increased to four.
