Marriott International celebrates sustainability and green efforts by planting 22,222 trees across its hotels in South Asia

To commemorate the World Earth Day and taking a leap towards sustainability and environmental consciousness, Marriott International hotels achieved planting 22,222 saplings across fortycities. This is an ongoing commitment towardsits sustainability goals through Marriott International’s Serve 360, a social impact platform of “Doing Good in Every Direction”.

This plantation drive involved associates and guests. Innovative initiatives were adopted by hotel teams to involve guests to plant saplings, a rewarding activity that brought everyone closer to nature and highlighted the need for each one to play their part towards building a greener and more sustainable future.

We hope to encourage more and more individuals to take on this cause in their own capacities. Our goal is to engage our guests and associates in our sustainability efforts.
