Hyatt Regency Trivandrum has announced the appointment of Cong Yong Li as their new Chef de Cuisine. After having proved his mettle in the best kitchens of China for eight years, he joined the Grand Hyatt team in Mumbai and then the China House in Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad. His skills and experience of over 18 years is brought to the forefront as he joins the team in Hyatt Regency in Trivandrum where he will be the Chef de Cuisine.
Popularly known as Chef Li, he has been instrumental in opening speciality hotels across various Hyatts in India. His expertise in Traditional Chinese cuisine and his mastery of the authentic flavors from his hometown and the traditional flavors of the Sichuan Province in China has made his food popular amongst the Indian crowd. Inspired by his mother and the delicacies she used to create, his flavors take the connoisseur through a journey of the authentic, spicy flavorsome routes of his small hometown in China. His extensive knowledge of the Sichuanese flavors makes him the perfect choice for the role.
About joining Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, Chef Li says, “I’m excited about joining the team. I have had an amazing time with the group, both in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
