South of Vindhyas is hosting a distinctive Sea Food Festival, with diverse flavors and delicacies from the South of India. Traditional decorations like rangoli and “Samay”, a lamp common during auspicious ceremonies in the South adorn the entrance along with a boat decorated with Fish Cutouts. To welcome the guest the servers and hostesses are well-groomed in traditional South Indian dresses.
The ten-day festival offers an exhaustive choice of fish like Indian salmon, kingfish, karimeen, squids, clams, and crabs. Chef Bala has specially prepared an authentic menu keeping in mind the tastes and preferences of Sea Food Lovers. The food will be cooked in various styles of Coastal Indian states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
South of Vindhyas is a very popular haunt for many that boast of a menu replete with generations-old, traditional recipes jostling alongside reinvented, fusion cuisine creations. The cozy, quietly distinctive ambiance reflects a palatial Mangalorian estate house surrounded by handmade paintings and hanging lamps from Tanjore.
