Thai Naam Mumbai rings in Songkran with special 10-day festival menu

Thai Naam, a premium fine dining restaurant in Mumbai that is famous for its harmonious flavors, fresh ingredients, and aromatic dishes, is preparing to celebrate the traditional New Year’s festival of Songkran. This festival, also known as the Water Festival, is widely celebrated throughout Thailand and involves public water fights as a symbol of spiritual cleansing. Thai Naam will offer a special festival menu from April 10th to April 18th, 2024, spanning 10 days to honor this auspicious occasion.

Thai Naam team has created a well-thought-out menu that combines authentic recipes and new Thai trends that they have brought back with them from their travels. This unique culinary experience is showcased in their Songkran menu. The menu offers a range of appetizers, including Garlic Pepper Potatoes with Cashew Nuts, Assorted Vegetable Dim Sum, Crispy Vegetables, and Jalapeno Poppers. For the main course, you can choose from Southern Style Curry with Water Chestnut, Silky Bean Curd with Chilli Garlic Basil, Palm Hearts and Edamame in Cashew Nut Sauce, and Burnt Garlic Spicy Jasmine Fried Rice. To end your meal on a sweet note, you can enjoy Diced Water Chestnut with Coconut Milk, Thai Mud Cake made with Felchlin Chocolate, or Honey Nut Crunch Ice Cream.

Non-vegetarian customers can indulge in a variety of appetizers and main courses. Some of the popular items on the menu include Kaffir Lime Flavoured Prawns with Spicy Mayo, Chicken with Yum Dressing and Coriander, Pan Grilled Scallops with Orange Sauce, Thai Panang Curry with Lamb, Butter Garlic Prawns with Curry Leaves, Steamed Fish with Yellow Bean Paste, and Homemade Fresh Rice Noodles with Lobster.

Thai Naam has a specially curated Songkran menu, along with an Ala Carte menu that offers a wide range of dishes to choose from. You can also indulge in seasonal drinks like the Temple of Dawn (made with tender coconut and rose) and Sukhumvit (sparkling plum and cherry)
