Anuradha Venkatachalam recently assumed the role of Pre-opening Hotel Captain at Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloud under Marriott International. This marks the impending debut of the first Moxy Hotel in India. Anuradha, equipped with substantial global experience in hospitality across the Middle East and South East Asia, embarks on this new venture from her hometown in Bengaluru, India, in partnership with Marriott International.
Commencing her hospitality journey with IHG in 2010 at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Anuradha’s career traversed through Kuwait and Oman, expanding her expertise. Alongside her tenure at IHG properties, she held the position of Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and PR at JW Marriott Kuwait. Returning to IHG in Singapore, she assumed pivotal leadership roles in Commercial and Operations. Her most recent role was as Director of Operations at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre.
An advocate for authentic hospitality centered around people, Anuradha is a dedicated team builder. She champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and has mentored numerous aspiring hoteliers, particularly emerging female leaders. Her vision includes perpetuating her dedication to coaching and guiding the upcoming generation of hospitality professionals.
